The advance learners will usually study vocabulary, grammar, writing, listening, reading, pronunciation and conversation. Where as a new learner will usually just cover the four main language skills which is of course reading, writing, speaking and listening to the language. As a language school ourseleves we are able to give you a number of tips to help you understand and study the language a little easier.

One of the best tipes that we can give you is to meet new people. By meeting new people and making new friends you will be able to practice speaking English between yourselves. Making friends with people that already live in the United Kingdom is also great because they will already have some sort of understanding of the language so it will help you to speak it more fluently. They may also be able help you pronounce the more difficuilt words and phrases a little better.

Another good tip is to have positive reinforcement. For students to be able to complete their task to the best of their abilities as well as learning the new language they need to keep telling themselves “ I want to do it” in order to succeed. It is always a good idea to make a goal and to know your reasons for achieveing this goal. For example some students my might want to pass their course to gain a better career or continue education at a college or university within the UK. Once you start your English course students will need to remind themselves of their goal in order to be successful in passing their course.

One of the final tips that our language school can give all students is conversational phrases. This means that when you are meeting new people or have the opportunity to learn a new conversation phrase then do so. By doing this you will learn to speak English a lot quicker and easier. Learning English in London or any part of the UK will be a lot easier when it comes to practicing phrases such as “Hello, What you doing today?”. When you have learnt the more common phrases you will then be able to learn and study full sentances so that you can have a more fluent conversation.
